Description STEEL ANCHOR SLINGS COMPONENT DESCRIPTION : STEEL ANCHOR SLING EN795 Class B Anchorage sling’s are used in fall protection when part of a structure such as a column or wall are positioned where they can support a Running-Line in a Work Restraint System. Anchorage slings are also useful for connecting fall arrestors when wrapped around horizontal steel beams Steel Rope Anchorage Sling in protective sleeve with end protectors Steel anchor slings are extremely durable offering a long service life if used and stored correctly. They are manufactured using 6mm galvanised steel wire protected inside a protective rubber sleeve with connector eyes where connectors are attached. Anchor sling’s are wrapped around columns or reinforcement starter bars acting as end anchor points for horizontal lifelines when working on leading edges. Standard effective working lengths 2,3 and 4 metres, – intermediate or longer lengths are made to order CONFORMS TO: EN354:2010, EN795:2012 Type B – when used for a one person load & PD CEN/TS 16415:2013 Type B when used in rescue for a two person load.
