Description A Safety Harness is a body-holding device which comprises suitably arranged straps, fittings and buckles that have been designed to support and restrain the whole body of a person during and after an arrested fall. It should fit the wearer with allowance for adjustment, carry a sufficient rating to support the weight of the intended user and have attachment point’s for connecting to a Personal Fall Protection System. COMPONENT DESCRIPTION Kratos KAMI 2 – Body harness with 1 dorsal D-Ring and 2 chest attachment textile loops for front fastening with an Oval karabiner. Attachment Elements – 2 chest attachment textile loops and a dorsal attachment D-Ring for fall arrest. Adaptability – Adjustable thigh-straps, sliding plates for easy adjustment of chest strap. Convenience – Shoulder and thigh-straps differentiated by a dual colour scheme. Ergonomics – Ideally positioned sit-strap for extended comfort. Compliance – Conforms to EN 361:2002 Can be used by a user with a maximum weight of 140 kg. PRE USE INSPECTIONS -SAFETY HARNESS Safety harnesses should be inspected before each use to ensure they are in good condition and safe to use. Additionally, they should undergo a thorough inspection by a competent person at least every twelve months, or more frequently if subjected to heavy use or harsh conditions.
