Description PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Ridgegear Chaser is a Twin Leg Self-Retracting Lanyard which has two retracting lifelines and the added safety feature of an energy absorber pack that reduces the arresting force on the faller to 6kN. Twin leg lanyards are used by scaffolders or falsework erectors because they allow the user to attach the lanyard between anchor points, ie scaffolding structures during erection or dismantling. The major benefit of this Chaser lanyard is that the lanyards are retractable meaning that there are no trailing Ropes or Webbing to trip over, which is particularly useful when working with limited working room. The lanyard’s are 2mtr. at full extension. In the event of a fall the self-retractable lifelines will lock off and as an additional safety feature a shock absorber will reduce the force on the wearer’s body which has a maximum arrest force of 6KN. The components materials used to make a Chaser lanyard are of the highest quality and offer user benefits such as the superlight aluminium double action scaffold hooks which reduce the weight of the lanyard and the swivel eye hook connectors which eliminate lanyard tangling when changing from vertical to horizontal anchorage points.
