Description Economical Temporary Horizontal Lifeline- 20 mtrs for two users in Work Restraint. BSEN 795 : 2012 Type C A Temporary Horizontal Lifeline or Running-Line is the primary anchorage device in a Work Restraint System. Horizontal Lifelines are used to link Anchor points together and provides a lightweight and easily installed Running-Line for preventing falls from leading and open edges. This Kratos Eco-Line consists of a length of webbing with a ratchet tensioner that adjusts and tensions the lifeline to a maximum working length of 20 metres. It has sewn loops with oval karabiners at both ends for connecting to anchor slings. A connected storage bag holds excess webbing and provides UV protection when the lifeline is not in use. The Kratos Eco-Lifeline is limited to 2 x simultaneous users in Work Restraint. We also stock Ridge Gear Lifelines which can support 4 x Simultaneous users in Work Restraint. https://safetyrespectstore.co.uk/product/temporary-horizontal-lifeline-20-mtr/ Horizontal Lifelines are supported by Anchors capable of withstanding 12kN in any direction and certified to EN795. Common anchor types are Slings wrapped around Columns in the facade industry or Slings wrapped around Column starter bars when building Reinforced Concrete structures. WHAT IS A WORK RESTRAINT SYSTEM A Temporary Work Restraint System is used to protect those working on open edge of structures when temporary edge protection is not in place. It protects those using it by restricting their movement within a safe working zone, preventing them from reaching the fall hazard. Work Restraint is placed in the work at height hierarchy as the preferred method for fall prevention when collective measures are not in place. A common example of this is when unitised façade systems are installed onto the side of structures where a Temporary edge protection system prevents access for installers to the edge of the floors for fixing brackets and panels so a Temporary Work Restraint System – often called Running-lines will be installed inside the structure, running parallel to the edge of the slab offering an unobstructed restraint for several installers simultaneously.
