It is manufactured from heavy duty elasticated webbing with an aluminium karabiner at one end and a cord with tightener at the other. When connected to a dropped tool this lanyard will stretch to 120cm reducing the falling force of the dropped object on the user by deceleration. When unstressed the working length is 80cm.
